Trash the Dress

There is a new trend in wedding photography lately called "Trash the Dress", where the brides literally scrap their wedding gown by lying on the mud, soaking in water, or doing other crazy and creative things to the dress, as the photographers capture and preserve the moments.
The idea started as a blog by Mark Eric in the fall of 2006 (www.trashthedress.com), when he was inspired by an article by photographer John Michael Cooper. It inspired me as an unique opportunity to do something very different and creative in wedding portraits - something you don't want your mother to see. Just when you think your wedding is over, well, not quite yet until you trash the dress. It's a commitment to your new husband that you will never wear the dress again!

We are currently seeking brides who are into this "Trash the Dress" high fashion trend. Let us know if you have a wild idea, or we will tell you ours.

Larry is a professional scuba diver. He was explaining to Kurty the operation of his $10,000 under water camera for the shoot.

Thanks to Mylinh and Billy for their ultimate sacrifice for the photo shoot. The moment we jumped in the freezing cold pool, we felt that we fell in the icy lake of Alaska!
