A touching engagement proposal 30,000 feet in the air!

I've heard many creative and romantic engagement proposals. This one definitely knocked my socks off. While capturing Courtney and Chris's wedding at the Contra Costa Country Club, I read about their unusual engagement proposal story displayed by a Southwest Airlines plane. Here's the story:

The Real Love Airlines

Why is there a Southwest Plane at our wedding?

On December 11th 2004, I proposed to Courtney on bended knee 30,000 ft in the air on board a Southwest flight.

It was a total surprise to Courtney. (For those of you who know Courtney---you know how hard surprising her is) Thanks to the help of many kind Southwest employees, I was able to surprise her by sneaking onto the flight and popping the question halfway through the flight.

Thankfully, she said yes and then the whole plane joined in with applause as the captain came over the speaker singing love songs while the flight attendants congratulated us.

Courtney finally gathered her composure just in time for us to land where her family was waiting for us.
